Самая дорогая земля - в пешей доступности до моря и в туристических районах приморских городов. Поэтому там участки земли, на которых стоят виллы, обычно небольшие (в среднем, 300кв.м.). Участки в ближайших пригородах городов уже больше (в среднем, 400-450кв.м.). Средняя площадь участков в деревнях - 600-700кв.м. Большинство вилл имеют собственные бассейны. На участке, помимо сада и бассейна, обычно располагаются барбекю, беседка, защищающая от солнца, парковочное место (одно или несколько). В основном виллы - двухэтажные. Также имеются одноэтажные и полутораэтажные (основной этаж и мансарда) бунгало. Виллы имеют разнообразную планировку. Как правило, на первом этаже расположены кухня и гостиная, гостевой санузел, иногда кабинет, на втором этаже - спальные комнаты и  ванные. Обычно, виллы отапливаются от бойлера, который работает на газе или дизеле. Некоторые виллы имеют систему отопления "теплый пол". Все виллы сдаются с полной внутренней отделкой. На кухне установлен кухонный гарнитур, в спальнях - стенные шкафы, в ванных комнатах - сантехника. Участок огорожен забором, имеется необходимое мощение, функционирует бассейн. Для дома покупателю остается приобрести мебель, шторы, светильники, бытовую технику, кондиционеры и систему отопления. На участке предстоит разбить сад. Если покупка осуществляется на стадии строительства, покупатель может выбрать всю внутреннюю отделку виллы (а иногда и планировку комнат) по своему вкусу.
